Hey Hunters & Makers! Jitsu founder here, thanks for hunting us! I, , and hundreds of other data engineers have been looking for a more powerful data collection platform to replace Segment. One that is open-source, customizable, can be self-hosted, collects data in real-time, and much more. We couldn’t find such a solution so we decided to create Jitsu. 8 months ago we coded a simple prototype and got a great response from the community. Now, we’re proud to launch Jitsu 2.0! Since our initial launch, we built (and open-sourced!) a user interface and supported a number of integrations. Here’s what Jitsu can do now: ⚡️ Collect events from web- and mobile- apps and deliver them to the database in real-time (we support ClickHouse, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, and Postgres). 💪 🔒 Use your own domain (such as t.[yourco].com) for running Jitsu. And yes, we support HTTPS without any additional configuration! By the way, this feature is available both in SaaS and Cloud versions 👥 Change events in DB retrospectively after each user identification event Looking forward to your feedback and questions! Cheers, Team Jitsu P. S. Check out our GitHub repo: .
Hi Product Hunt👋! I’m a Software Developer at Jitsu! Would love to hear your feedback about Jitsu and especially deployment experience. We worked very hard to make the deployment process as easy as possible. We support 1-click deployment with Docker and Heroku. Please, let me know if you have any questions :)
Guys, congrats on the launch!
Thanks :)
Great product and amazing team!
Thank you!
Great product, and kudos for the open-source approach!
Thank you!
wow. Nice platform
Thank you! Id you don't mind sharing, what kind of problem you might want to solve with Jitsu?
and I were looking for an open source analytics platform for our own open source project and jitsu.com was the best choice. was super helpful and hands-on and even helped implement jitsu with a PR. terrific team and product
Amazing product !!
Congratulations on the launch We have used Jitsu and one of the finest open-source products we have used internally compared to other solutions available. The team behind Jitsu will not disappoint you. and are very open to community feedback and have shipped a few of our feature requests/suggestions in a short span of time which really helped us in focusing more on the problem that we are solving and less time worrying. So far our experience with Jitsu has been amazing. Keep it up!
Id love to know how non-technical product owners can utilize this. Any use cases? For me I have a web application and mobile application coming out. Can this help with collecting user behavior data? Or am I confused?
we're not a full-stack analytics platform. You need to have some sort of visualization layer on top of data collected by Jitsu. I know plenty of low-/no-code tools (Metabase, Chartio, etc). However, some understanding of database structure and SQL is probably required
