Jhozy - Stop running your home across five different apps

by•
Jhozy is the one app for the people you live with: shared shopping lists, expense splitting with automatic settle-up, chores, and a shared calendar, all kept in sync in real time. Built for couples, families, and roommates tired of juggling Splitwise, a whiteboard, and a group chat just to run a household.

Hey Product Hunt!

I'm Sam, a software engineer. I built Jhozy at night during parental leave, because my partner and I couldn't find one app that handled our actual household. Money lived in one app, groceries in another, chores got remembered but never done, and separate calendars kept causing forgotten events.

Jhozy puts expenses, the shopping list, chores, notes and the calendar in one place, shared live with everyone in your home. You can look around a sample home first, no account needed.

A few things I hadn't seen elsewhere:

• One running balance instead of a pile of individual debts, settled in the fewest possible transfers, with a default household split (e.g. 60/40) so you never re-enter it

• Chores that rotate themselves: cover someone's turn and they automatically take your next one, plus a leaderboard weighted by difficulty

• Bubbles: a temporary group for a trip or event. Friends join via a link, no signup required

• Two-way Google Calendar sync: add an event on either side and it shows up on both

Plus a shopping list with freshness dots and tags, fixed bills in one monthly view, shared notes and lists, offline support, and six languages (EN, DE, IT, FR, ES, PT).

Jhozy is free on iOS and Android. Jhozy Plus removes ads and unlocks extras like Google Calendar sync. For the Product Hunt community: 3 months of Plus free for your whole household. Just email with the code PRODUCTHUNT before Oct 31.

I'd love to hear what you think, especially if you split rent, run a household with kids, or share a place with roommates. What's the thing about managing a shared home that still drives you up the wall?
