Excited to play around with this. I saw an early version a while back and see its potential.

Interesting how Jelly is positioning itself as a way to "search." https://twitter.com/biz/status/4...

Wow. What's mind-blowing for me is I launched this same exact concept 3 years ago. But it failed. I still believe in the idealistic vision, but not the approach. http://uxceo.com/post/2633836266...

Despite the "x for y" cliche, this does look like Aardvark for mobile. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aar...

@rrhoover Ubimachine. The concept was: you can ask a question about what is happening at a place right now to someone who is already there. The person is there now because they've taken a photo on instagram at that venue recently, and the question happens through commenting of the photo. take aways: people LOVE to answer questions, but most people feel awkward asking questions to strangers, would much rather ask a bot (cc Google). Another failure in the space: Localmind. The founder Lenny Rachitsky is awesome by the way. You should get him on PH ;)

@bencera_ Hehe, @lennysan's already here (and also provided some excellent feedback for us already).

Jelly just added the ability to ask questions to people nearby. I'm noticing more social apps add this "nearby" context to the interaction.

Jelly just announced Topics in their latest 1.2 release.
