I’m Tanvir, founder of Jadebook. I'm a big self-improvement and journal fan but I really didn't like any of the options on the market. I used stuff like Daybook or made a system on Notion but nothing was intuitive enough.
So, I've spent the past 8 months building my own platform. And it's not something I vibe-coded in a weekend — I've made sure to make the platform secure, encrypted and extremely fast.
Everything from device sync, tagging, rich text editing, cover images, font styles, sharing entries, voice transcription — I've implemented almost anything I could think of and that other platforms have.
I've also spent time figuring out how to integrate AI into the journalling experience without taking away the benefits. Rather than writing for you, Jadebook uses AI to create summaries, provide insights, writing prompts etc. And if you want, you can hide most AI features and just use Jadebook as a good alternative to services like Daybook.
