It's an embeddable CSV import widget that developers can drop into their apps.
The idea came from experience I've seen how much time gets burned building a decent spreadsheet import flow from scratch. Column mapping, validation, weird encodings, error handling it's one of those things that sounds simple until you actually build it.

I ve been on Product Hunt for years, but this is actually my first time posting. I never launched anything before, I was so busy with work, always telling myself someday I ll build my own product. I feel like this year is the time.

I ve followed indie hackers for a long time, and people like @marclou really pushed me to just give it a shot and ship. I like the build fast, fail fast, build for myself first mindset and see if it s useful for others.

Right now I m planning my first launch, but honestly I m still figuring things out. I ve tried some cold outreach (no body reply yet ), watched a bunch of YouTube videos, and still feel a bit lost, especially on how to get visibility before launch.

I m Slawek, an engineer from Silesia, Poland, and a father of five (4 girls and 1 boy now that is a real-world lesson in logistics and scaling!). The "Aha!" Moment

A few years ago, I was driving past a road construction site and saw people sitting in the cold with manual clickers, trying to count cars. I thought: "It s the 21st century. We have AI, we have computer vision why are we still doing this like it's 1920?"

I m a software engineer and product builder. And here is my story.

Like a lot of people here, I ve tried every filter, folder, and productivity hack, but important emails still get buried and follow-ups slip through the cracks. That frustration is what pushed me to start building something different.

...Like most startups, Votap started pretty scrappy. A lot of late nights, second-guessing, building things that break, fixing them, and slowly figuring out what actually matters to users. This isn t a polished big company launch. It s very much a real product built by a small team trying to learn fast and build something useful.

We built Votap because politics affects almost every part of our lives: cost of living, housing, work, safety, opportunity. Yet for most of us, our actual influence feels close to zero outside of elections every few years. That disconnect never sat right with us.

Votap is our attempt to close that gap. It s a simple way to express how you feel about politicians in real time and see how public sentiment shifts live through charts. No waiting years between elections. Just ongoing feedback.

Launching on Product Hunt matters a lot to us because early adopters here don t just click and disappear. You ask tough questions. You spot flaws. You suggest features we didn t think of. That feedback is genuinely how early products get better, and we re here to learn.
