19, I dropped out of my CS program to code full-time, here to learn

It’s been six months since I quit university after my sophomore year to work on a product with two friends from a hackathon. My parents think I’m making a wrong decision, and sometimes I agree with them, mostly on the days when no one signs up for our product despite all our efforts to promote ourselves everywhere.
I definitely lack neither time nor energy. What I do lack is the ability to judge which problems deserve solving and which problems only look interesting to implement. I’ve read all those typical startup books but would prefer to ask people who can give me an advice directly.
So, if you could go back in time and you were 19 again, what’s the one mistake you would never want yourself to make that can’t be learned from a blog post?

Here's the thing I'd genuinely want to know: how do you and your two friends split decisions? Because the hardest part I keep hearing from solo founders isn't the code — it's when three people disagree on what to build next, and nobody has the authority to just pick one.
Asking because I'm about to start something with a friend and I'm scared of that exact moment."
