Today, the ability to launch new denim fabrics to market and fast-track product development with digital tools is limited by a lack of accurate, high-quality digital fabrics. This means that countless fabric samples are produced for design and product adjustments that could be done digitally - contributing to an enormous amount of material waste and logistical pollution. It also means that most design and development processes remain wildly inefficient, costing manufactuers and brands massive amounts of time, money, and opportunity. The 4K 3D fabric files output from INDIKON solution is fully compatible with Swatchbook, Material Exchange and other distribution platforms; CLO3D, Browzwear, Optitex, and other 3D fashion design solutions; and we are in close collaboration with Jeanologia to develop better digital fabrics for better digital laundry. The launch this month is the start of our ongoing long-term mission to develop the Digital Denim OS, which we now have several other industry partners involved in. This finally allows denim mills to be able to digitize fabrics in-house in a fast, easy, accurate, and affordable way. The technology advancement is a major step forward towards better digital product development for fashion – less waste, in less time, with greater transparency.
