Upload an image and instantly get structured data in your Google Sheet™. Img2Sheet automates data entry using AI, with secure, pay-per-use pricing and zero manual work.
Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I’m super excited to share Img2Sheet with you all.
It started as a personal pain point — I was wasting so much time entering data from receipts and invoices into spreadsheets. So I built a tool that does it for me, using AI.
With Img2Sheet, you can:
📸 Upload images of bills, receipts, or documents
📊 Define the structure of the data you want (like date, amount, items, etc.)
⚡ Automatically extract the info into Google Sheets
It’s perfect for small business owners, freelancers, or honestly anyone tired of repetitive data entry.
I’d love to hear what you think!
Would this save you time?
Any feature ideas or feedback?
What kind of documents would you automate?
You can try it out now with 50 free credits.
Thanks for checking it out — and I’ll be hanging around all day to answer questions and chat with you! 🚀🙏
Hi @desmond_ren1 , thanks so much for your kind words! 🙌 A mobile-friendly experience is definitely on the roadmap — being able to snap a photo and instantly convert it on the go is exactly the kind of convenience I want to bring to Img2Sheet. Stay tuned! 😊

@naycho334 Hey, the idea and the app look really cool! Curious — what's the main use case or problem you're solving? Right now it feels a bit too broad to me — like you're still figuring out the target users rather than going after a specific segment.
In my opinion, it might be more effective to pick a specific audience, focus your marketing on them, and then expand to other user types later — rather than starting too broad from the beginning.
I'll be using it this month to track my expenses — something I’ve always wanted to do but never got around to because I didn’t have a tool I liked (and was too lazy to use Excel).
One more thing — keep an eye on the pricing. I buy things almost every day, so if I’m inputting expenses daily, it could get expensive pretty quickly. Maybe a subscription model would make more sense? Of course, it depends on your target audience — but definitely worth monitoring user feedback, usage patterns, and how credits are consumed.
Hey @lozzzko , thank you so much for the thoughtful feedback — I really appreciate you taking the time to share your perspective!
You're right — Img2Sheet is fundamentally a tool for automating data entry, and I intentionally kept it flexible so it can serve a wide range of users: whether it’s small business owners logging receipts, freelancers managing invoices, or individuals (like you!) tracking daily expenses. I wanted to build something useful for anyone tired of manually entering data into spreadsheets.
As for pricing — great point! I’m using a credit-based model where 1 credit = 1 extract. It’s prepaid and designed to be pay-as-you-go, so you only pay for what you actually use. I chose this over subscriptions to give users more flexibility, especially since I don’t have significant recurring costs to keep the app running.
That said, I’m definitely keeping an eye on how people are using it — your feedback about daily expense tracking is super valuable and will help shape future iterations.
Really excited to have you trying it out this month — let me know how it goes! 😊

@naycho334 awesome I wish you good luck and hope you get many happy clients. My point was if it's niched you can easily target specific customers and get people in the funnel. Measure why people use your app it will show you what features to build and where to focus attention.

Looks great! It would be really helpful if it’s accessible on mobile as well. Also, is there a way to organize receipts by category or manage them on a monthly basis?
@kay_arkain Thanks so much for the kind words and great questions! 🙏
Mobile accessibility is definitely on the roadmap — I completely agree it would make the tool even more useful on the go.
As for organizing receipts by category or managing them monthly: that would be super helpful, but currently, we don’t store any user data on our platform to prioritize security and privacy. Everything stays in your control, which means we don’t retain documents or extracted data after processing.
Appreciate your feedback — it's incredibly valuable as I continue to improve Img2Sheet! 😊
@kui_jason Thank you so much for the kind words! 😊

This is pretty cool, but what I need is the opposite, an AI that can take the data from a spreadsheet and populate a CRM or a report. Now THAT would be handy!

This could save tons of time on manual data entry from receipts! 👍
@mrrabbar Thanks so much for the kind words and support! 🙏 Yes — Img2Sheet can handle clear handwriting as well as printed text. As long as the handwriting is neat and legible, the AI does a pretty good job extracting the data.

This could eliminate hours of manual data entry! Is there a mobile app to snap-and-convert data on the go?
