While the initial auth call for a customer’s card in Decoupled 3DS flow could result in added latency (~500ms - 2s) due to the additional processor call for 3DS, the subsequent payments using the card will be lightning fast, secure & reliable with high chances of success rate given the frictionless 3DS experience and processor agnostic retries that are made possible by the initial Decoupled 3DS setup.

Impressive! As a person who works in payments, I understand how much of a hassle it can be to enable payments in a successful and reliable manner. Adding an orchestration layer appears to be an excellent method for enabling applications to accept payments with high success rates, without the need to broker deals with providers. The control center could greatly simplify life and lower the barrier to entry for individuals managing payments for their businesses. Kudos!

I have tried the product and I think it is awesome because it connects us to major payment processors using our own smart routing rules, integrating with one interface, we connect to many. We can also add our own custom connector with the help of a document listing all the steps to follow. The documentation is very rich and it makes it easy for developers to deploy the application on their own servers. I also find it very helpful to have a great support team very fast to respond and willing to help in solving the issues I faced during deployment. Keep up the good work. Great product and great team support.

To answer your question, 3DS decision manager gives you the control to set 3DS rules according to the risk thresholds across various parameters that they have been observed over time by you. For instance, you can decide to invoke 3DS only for transaction amount >$100 and thereby ascertaining better fraud prevention without compromising on user experience for low value transactions.
