Three years ago, we started building Hyperswitch, an open-source payments platform.

When we launched, the pitch was simple: one platform, any processor, no lock-in. We had no idea what we'd signed up for.

70+ processors later (Stripe, Adyen, Razorpay, PayPal, Checkout.com, Worldpay, Mollie, plus a long tail across Europe and North America), five lessons:

1. "Declined" means something different to every processor Numeric codes. String codes. Both, contradicting each other. 200 OK with failure buried in the body. Normalising this took us nearly a year. Still the most thankless work we do.

2. Sandboxes lie Test environments accept edge cases production silently rejects: wrong currency combos, certain BIN ranges, specific 3DS flows. We harden every connector against real production traffic before calling it stable.

I vibecoded an open-source CLI to measure how often your brand shows up in AI responses

sharing something I built that might be useful here.

It's an open-source CLI tool called AI SOV Analyzer. The idea: AI models like ChatGPT are increasingly where buyers discover products. This tool lets you measure how often your brand shows up in AI responses vs your competitors basically "Share of Voice" but for AI.

Free to run (works with Ollama locally or free-tier APIs)

Apache 2.0 open source

Exploring an AI Journaling Companion - Would You use This?

I m exploring an idea and would love your feedback.

The problem:

A lot of us (especially people who live alone, moved away from family, or work remotely) struggle with loneliness or a lack of daily human connection. Making new friends as an adult has become harder, and journaling often feels too static or inconsistent.
