Cool product Grant! Why did you goes go mobile first (or are you?)? Typically when I sign up for a beta and enter my email it's from my laptop. Just curious what the thinking was and what the plans are.
Grant MacLennan
@ericwattage Hey Eric! Thanks! I think I always go mobile first now to be honest purely that traffic metrics always weigh higher on the mobile devices.

So this is basically just using Robinhood's growth hack as a service right? https://growthhackers.com/slides... PS - Please don't break my scrollbar.
@marty
@mbesto exactly that! Apologies, fixing the scrolling!
Dan Polaske
Great idea! I think Mailbox did a similar thing when they launched
Grant MacLennan
@dpolaske yeah they did!

I wish this had existed a few months ago. It's the Mailbox trick and it works. We ended up using kick off labs for our pre-launch page, but this looks much better as you have the queue system / social skip reward.
Grant MacLennan
@rossashanks Thanks rossa.

Pretty similar to LaunchRock, which was acquired by Fundable last year. Startups that are acquired have a habit of slowing down, so I'm sure there is room in the market for another similar service. One of my favorite LaunchRock success stories is Delaney BBQ, which presold $60K of brisket using the same social share queuing algorithm. Read comment #15 on this thread - http://www.bbq-brethren.com/foru... Nice work on HypeQ and keep it up.

A question: Is this only a mobile app or it will be available for web/via browser? I can use it for something really cool :)
Grant MacLennan
@bogomep Hey! The administration of a HypeQ is a mobile first web app. The api though can easily be integrated into mobile apps on any platform.
David McGraw
The ease of implementation/insight here will be a big win. Queue/incentive systems can work really well (pre/post launch) combined with other efforts (recall Mailbox, Robinhood, etc). I'm always concerned when I don't see pricing. What are your thoughts on cost?
Grant MacLennan
Not yet Mike. Hopefully within the next week we will.
