you can request posts only on the homepage and retrieve the number of upvotes to filter down to more popular products.
Done. Bottom position is actually pretty good since folks tend to skip the middle part. Also went for the stream rather than best of to keep the river flowing.

It's actually being maintained and made with modern standards. Mobile, etc. Popurls sports lots of sources that haven't changed in years.
