The soles of these shoes are made from recycled chewing gum

from the streets of Amsterdam. In the Netherlands 1.5 million kilos of gum ends up on the street every year. By buying these shoes you contribute to the solution, by wearing them you show your support.

First of all, that auto play video on the marketing site...wtf people. That said, I fully support any product that is pun-based.

Would like to know how much of the shoe is made from 100% recycled material, if any of it. The website says 'made from 100%... etc' but the sales site says 'Made from premium matt leather [...] The outsole of this product is made of RECYCLED CHEWING GUM in collab with GUM-TEC". A tad misleading, even though the intention is good.
