I built a social network for creators after getting tired of Instagram's algorithm

I'm Vlad, a solo developer from Russia, and I want to share something I've been working on for the past year: Gudex.

The problem I wanted to solve:

I'm an artist and developer. Every platform I used had the same issues:

· Instagram compresses artwork into blurry mess

· Twitter's timeline is 90% outrage bait, not creative work

· SoundCloud is slowly dying

· Existing platforms optimize for engagement time, not quality content

So I asked myself: what if there was a platform actually built FOR creators?

What Gudex does differently:

🎨 Artists — Upload drawings without compression. Gallery mode supports carousel and smart grid layouts.

🎵 Musicians — Built-in audio player. Upload MP3 or link SoundCloud. Plays inline, no tab switching.

💻 Developers — Post code with syntax highlighting. Auto-detects Python, JavaScript, Rust, HTML, and 10+ languages.

📊 Everyone — Polls, reposts, smart link previews, real-time notifications, dark mode.

No algorithms. No ads. No tracking.

The feed is chronological. What you see is what people you follow posted. Period.

Tech behind it:

React frontend, PHP/MySQL backend, Pusher WebSockets for real-time updates. Hosted in Russia, available globally.

What I'm looking for:

The platform is completely free. I'm funding this myself. No VCs, no investors — just a guy who wanted a better place to share his work.
