We built a free GST/HST calculator because doing Canadian sales tax math by hand on every job quote got old fast. Type in an amount and pick a province - it adds the correct GST or HST instantly. Or flip it around: enter a price that already includes tax, and it pulls the tax back out to show the pre-tax amount. It covers all 13 provinces and territories, applies the CRA's place-of-supply rule correctly (tax follows where the work happens, not where the business is registered), and rates are checked against current CRA figures - including changes like Nova Scotia's HST drop to 14%.
