GpxFile.pro is a free suite of GPX tools for cyclists, hikers, and anyone using a GPS device. Convert Google Maps, Bing Maps, or Apple Maps routes to GPX. Plan a route from scratch by clicking on a map. View, edit, trim, split, and simplify GPX files — all in the browser, no sign-up required.

Initially built Google Maps to GPX functionality as could not find decent option at that moment. Later developed more tools for GPX processing - merge, split, strip, trim, etc. Also GPX route planner to create GPX files from scratch. The goal was to keep everything straight to the point: no registration, no payment, just tools that work and easy to use.

A handy addition would be the ability to export the planned route directly to a Garmin device or generate a shareable link with turn-by-turn directions for friends. Right now converting and then manually transferring the GPX to my Garmin is still a few extra steps I'd love to skip.

Thanks for the feedback. When you say export directly to Garmin, do you mean uploading to your Garmin Connect account, or writing the file directly to the device when it's plugged in via USB?

hey, this is genuinely useful for planning rides without having to install yet another app. one thing i'd love to see is the ability to preview the elevation profile alongside the route while i'm clicking points on the map, so i can tell if that "shortcut" is actually going to murder my legs before i commit to it

Added elevation profile to the route planner — shows the climb as you add waypoints, with elevation gain and grade on hover. Appreciate the feedback.
