Google Allo is a smart messaging app that helps you say more and do more. Express yourself better with stickers, doodles, and HUGE emojis & text. Allo also brings you the Google Assistant
I like Google assistant and collaboration of different Google services that it uses to source. Looking forward to exploring more.

I'm slightly concerned at the moment about data privacy: there have been some worrying articles written about the subject.

I really don't get the logic behind the clumsy identity management decisions made by Google here. My entire life revolves around my google account, yet Allo doesn't care. I can only sign up on one device, and it's strongly tied to my phone yet doesn't really care about SMS - which are all intercepted by hangouts and the crappy default messaging app on Android (when it works, which is sporadically and unpredictably). Seems like Google enjoys failing at being relevant in the messaging space after the constant disappointment of Hangouts.
Share app link with my friend in India. He is able to install it. For me still in Pre-Register mode in the United States. But I am getting the messages and can reply to his Allo message without any installation. How does it work?

@keyul I'm a bit late to reply to you, but have you checked to see if you can download it yet? The app sends a "preview" to people on Android who don't have it yet. Basically it's Instant Apps, which Google has said is coming soon.
