Can't believe no one has spotted this one yet. It takes a few minutes to get setup, but afterwards its super easy to schedule gmails to be sent later.
Just add '@Monday 6pm' and the top of an email and label it with Gmail Delay Send. Voila!
@rocketclubco that actually sounds pretty complicated. You should check out Boomerang for Gmail:

@_jacksmith Youre right boomerang is easier. But boomerang is a freemium while delay send is freeeeee.
