Hello everyone! I'm Victor Garcia CEO and Co-founder of Gofoodie. Gofoodie was born as an idea during the summer of 2016 while studying in England, I am a Spaniard who loves gastronomy and whenever I travel, I try to take advantage to discover and enjoy new dishes and flavours. England has a great influence of food from all over the world, so I wanted to try dishes that were very difficult to find in Spain. I realised that it took a long time to search for recommendations of the best dishes on blogs and Instagram and then creating my routes on a personal Google Maps map, so I started to see if it made sense to bring it all together on a single platform. Soon my co-founders joined the ambitious project and we started to develop Gofoodie. We are a small team, with very limited resources so we have tried to follow lean development, incorporating functions little by little according to the needs of our users. We would love to share our application with you to know your opinion, if it is useful to you foodies and, above all, what you would like to see on the application. I would like to point out some of the features that I personally find most interesting: - You can navigate the map mode all over the world and discover the most popular dishes. - Gofoodie allows you to import all the gastronomic content of your Instagram account, so it's easy to bring your Instagram dishes, order them by restaurants/preference/prices and, most of all, geolocation, with it you'll have your own map of your recommended dishes, very useful for your followers. - You can search for vegan/halal/kosher or gluten-free dishes in restaurants that have this option on their menu, even if they do not have the category of vegan restaurants, for example. - In the restaurants where we have agreements, you can see the full online menu. - In the future we want to incorporate the options of delivery and reservation.
