We have been working in mental healthcare for the past 3 years. We began during COVID-19 when there was an unprecedented demand for mental health resources. We launched a WhatsApp group in March '20 to help people improve their mental health with mental health resources, counselling and community support. We discovered that users had frequent poor experiences with mental healthcare. The available solutions were either segregated, incomplete or lacked structure. The care providers were too few, carry gaps in scientific and clinical knowledge and provide siloed services that is mostly individual-driven. These factors had led to ineffectual and sub-scale mental healthcare systems. In Sept’22, we formed our thesis to improve the efficacy of mental health programs. Our programs are more effective as they are focused, holistic and accessible.
