👋 Hi Product Hunt, I’m Hamza from GitStart. GitStart is a ticket-to-PR platform that helps engineering teams ship more of their roadmap without hiring in-house. We’re thrilled to introduce our AI Ticket Studio — a new way to write and iterate on tickets for your engineering team. ✨ Turn fuzzy ideas into beautifully scoped tickets within minutes ✨ 🪄 Key benefits: - Clear, context-rich tickets with the right technical details and scope that engineers love - Fast and stress-free ticket writing - More time writing code, less time spent back-and-forth clarifying requirements ⚡Here’s how it works: ⚙️ Ticket Studio learns from your codebase: it indexes your codebase to ask the right clarifying questions. 💬 Create & Edit Tickets by AI Chat: Eliminate the ‘fear of the blank page’ - our AI interacts with you to gather requirements, transforming vague ideas into actionable tickets. 🔁 Integration with Jira/Linear: Seamless ticket management and synchronization for a cohesive workflow! ✍️ Request Feedback on Existing Tickets: Import your ticket backlog, and let our AI play detective 🕵️ zooming in and providing feedback on missing info and overlooked edge cases. ⚒️ Handoff to engineering: Assign to your engineering team…or to ◯˚GitStart, and get back a PR We first built this to solve a pain we’re experiencing in our business: clients provided incomplete tickets, and developers lost time spent clarifying instead of writing code. With people in different time zones, delays piled up and delivery slowed down to a crawl. We later realized many product and engineering teams had the same problem, so we’re sharing this product to help anyone write better tickets and ship faster 🔥 🚀 Sign up at gitstart.com 🚀

@sudohamza Hamza, this is a brilliant solution! The integration with Jira/Linear is a huge plus. Love how it reduces back-and-forth and keeps teams focused on coding. Excited to see how it enhances productivity. 🙌💻

Worth mentioning this new product incorporates 6 months of user feedback on an MVP version of it! We completely revamped the infrastructure based on it faster and to make questions smarter 🤓

Congrats on launching! 🚀 Who is the primary user for this? Business people that has limited tech background and run an offshore team, or CTOs with internal teams? or Product leads with some tech insight that run hybrid teams? Or someone else? And is the primary use case for managing backlogs or figuring out scope to add new features?
Richard Guerre
@sentry_co thanks for the support! Our primary users are engineering managers/CTOs and product managers, but we've also seen marketing teams use it, with tickets getting picked up by engineering much faster because for the first time they were well scoped.
André J
@richardguerre Scoping is definitely an art, and something even very experienced devs can get wrong. So even having a suggestion on scope could be very helpful. Ill definitly give it a spin!

@sentry_co Is this tool agentic? For example, can my product manager who is augmented intelligence write a prompt and communicate directly with your agent as an orchestrator? I’m assuming that the context that would be passed in this communication would shape the results of the querying and tickets similar to what we get with our web crawlers

This looks awesome! How do we get this integrated into Kitemaker? ;)
Hamza
@kitemaker Soon!! We have a new ticket connector registry coming up that makes it super easy to integrate into new ticketing systems We are huge fans of Kitemaker internally, so wont be long before an integration lands :D

Wow, this sounds super helpful! 🛠️ Finally a way to streamline the ticketing process. The last thing anyone wants is miscommunication or missed details. Ticket Studio seems like a total game changer for dev teams. Can't wait to see how it improves our workflow!

Thank you for the support @blankwebdev!

@blankwebdev thank you so much @blankwebdev! Fun fact: we've also seen marketing teams use it, with tickets getting picked up by engineering much faster because for the first time they were well scoped 🙈

Hey Hamza, Turning vague ideas into well-scoped engineering tickets is something many teams struggle with. How does the AI Ticket Studio integrate with existing project management tools like Jira or Trello? Does it support custom workflows? Congrats on the launch!
Richard Guerre
@kyrylosilin Thanks for the support! The Ticket Studio already integrates with Linear, Jira is coming very soon, and more integrations are on the roadmap. Each integration offers a full 2 way sync, so any edits made in the Ticket Studio, will also appear in your project management tool.

Congrats on the launch, Hamza! This looks super cool and addresses a huge need in managing tickets. Love how it tackles duplicate and non-actionable tickets, turning vague ideas into clear, actionable tasks. The AI-powered creation and feedback features sound like real time-savers. Can't wait to see how GitStart improves dev workflows – best of luck with the rollout!
Richard Guerre
Thanks for the support @samuel_chien!

I hope this solves most of the problems for the QA team.
Navya c
@sanvi_san Yes, out QA team wants to try it with JIRA
Corentin from ◯˚GitStart
@sanvi_san @divya_c2 great! Jira has primary support so you're covered.
Corentin from ◯˚GitStart
Thank you for the comment @sanvi_san! Well, it doesn't magically solve every QA problem, but we've seen that you're right, asking questions about edge cases does add a lot of clarity or QA, especially for users that aren't QA trained like typically marketing people.

Something I can use, ty!!
