Hey Product Hunt 👋
Made 500files because every existing file request tool hit one of three walls for me:
• forced uploaders to sign in (Google Forms, Drive) • tied uploads to my personal cloud quota so 2GB photo collections silently failed (Dropbox File Requests) • charged $29+/mo for file checklists and branding (Content Snare, File Request Pro)
This is the stripped-down version. Create a page in ~10 seconds, share the link, people upload from any device without signing up for anything, you download a ZIP.
Free tier includes: file checklists, custom branding (logo + colors), resumable chunked uploads up to 500MB per file, password protection, 19-language auto-translation, and HMAC-SHA256 signed webhooks.
Real use cases I've seen so far: wedding photos from guests, accountants collecting client docs, HR onboarding paperwork, teachers getting homework without an LMS, designers collecting brand assets from multiple clients.
Day one of PH - would love feedback on workflows where you hit a wall with existing tools. Happy to answer anything.
