I've been using Genspark for a while, and it's really great. It has now become a wonderful helper in my work.

From writing and research to travel planning and even calling restaurants for you (!), this feels like the closest thing to a true personal assistant I’ve used so far.

✨ What stood out to me:
• Speed — responses are super snappy, feels almost like using a regular search engine.
• Reliability — fewer weird AI moments, more “oh wow this actually nailed it” moments.
• Multitool magic — the way it seamlessly combines tools (search, call, video gen, slides, etc.) is seriously cool.

The “AI Call for Me” feature alone is worth trying — booking things with zero hassle is a game changer.

Had very limited credits but the results seemed fab, couldn't complete the task due to lack of credits, and couldn't test it on multiple use cases. Could we get free credits or a month membership from education accounts?

And you can always feel when a team is cheating their results to impress low-info users, or are taking their concept seriously. Let's call it vibe-based, touch-and-feel benchmarking from super nerds.

Super-nerd conclusion: I'll be subscribing to see Genspark continue to build. The meta-planning and steerability on this are impressive, combined with a real practicality to the results.

I wanted to try it out by asking it to create a short Tik-tok style video. It warned me this might consume "more credits" than other tasks. I asked it how many credits, but it replied it didn't know. So I asked it to proceed anyway and then it eventually told me I didn't have enough credits to complete the task and I needed to upgrade. It would be nice if you could tell users how many credits a task will consume. I still don't know, even if I pay the monthly fee, how many credits creating a video will cost - all I know is it must be more than 162, because that's what my free had when I tried.

Edit: Actually, I just noticed the free plan receives 200 credits per day. I'm not sure why I'm at 162 because this was the very first task I tried. I guess it consumed 38 credits just to plan the creation of my video? I'm beginning to worry that 10,000 credits on the Plus plan will not get me very far.
