What is the one thing founders pretend is “strategic,” but is actually just avoidance? I keep noticing this pattern: the urgent work gets handled fast, the obvious work gets scheduled, and the uncomfortable work gets dressed up as “thinking through the strategy.” Talking to users. Shipping the rough version. Following up with someone. Killing a feature. Looking at the numbers honestly. What is the task you catch yourself avoiding while calling it strategy?

For me, it's overplanning :)

Spending days tweaking ideas, researching, making lists, and convincing myself I'm being strategic, when in reality I could've just shipped a basic version and learned from real users!
