About

I’m a founder and developer working on Meridian, an AI teammate that turns the messy reality of dev work into clear Jira updates, so teams can understand what actually happened without chasing people for status.

What is the one thing founders call “strategy” when it’s really avoidance?

What is the one thing founders pretend is strategic, but is actually just avoidance? I keep noticing this pattern: the urgent work gets handled fast, the obvious work gets scheduled, and the uncomfortable work gets dressed up as thinking through the strategy. Talking to users. Shipping the rough version. Following up with someone. Killing a feature. Looking at the numbers honestly. What is the task you catch yourself avoiding while calling it strategy?

How do founders decide what deserves attention today?

As a founder, the hardest part is not having too much to do. That is the default.Goldfishing..

The harder part is deciding what deserves attention today.

Some days it is product.

Some days it is users.

Do you think you’re an exception, or is every developer’s day this chaotic?

I keep telling myself, Tomorrow I ll finally get uninterrupted focus time.

Tomorrow arrives

and it s another day of PRs, bugs, meetings, helping teammates, and context switching.

Is this just me, or is this the default experience for most software engineers?
