What did your first few months of organic growth actually look like? (consumer apps)
Hey, I'm Wiki, an MD turned founder 👋🏻
I launched a consumer health app 3 days ago and I'm at ~100 users, all organic. I know that's a modest number, but it feels like a decent start for the first few days. I'm not planning to do paid acquisition if possible, I care more about building a community around the product than buying installs.
But I honestly have no idea if my numbers are good, slow, or completely normal. Launch week is always a spike, and most growth stories online don't talk openly about real growth trajectories.
So for those of you who grew a consumer app organically:
What did weeks 2–4 look like compared to launch week?
How long did it take before growth felt consistent rather than hit and miss?
What helped you achieve fast growth? A specific campaign, positioning, just consistency... or pure luck?
Mostly trying to calibrate expectations, and I want to understand what realistic and good look like from people who've been through it.
