What are your biggest marketing mistakes?

Marketing without product quality is the biggest mistake, I guess! Customers never come back once they get disappointed.

Not looking at proper metrics (ROI, Conversions, Open Rates)

Honestly, thinking I didn't need to do any, I could build the product and people would just come. Needless to say I've learned from that!

Hiring bloated agencies without very, VERY strong conversion tracking

Lack of focus on appropriate marketing channels

We were once migrating from Google Workspace to Microsoft Office 365, did everything right but for one thing. I forgot about Google Tag Manager. Lost access to that container, the rest is history. xD

The key and the most important element is a good quality product.
