What are the 5 tools you simply couldn't do your work without?

This could be related to your industry, or even a side project you're working on.

Here are my 5 (I couldn't function without them):

  1. Grammarly – proofreading my texts, not just posts, but also client communication

  2. ChatGPT / Claude – mostly brainstorming, help with copy, and summarising

  3. Figma – I can put the basic graphics together quickly.

  4. Translator – sounds incredibly old-school, but English is not my mother tongue

  5. Gmail – and not only for communication, but also for storing ideas and sending myself email reminders for posts

[and soon one more that I am working on – – prevents me from being banned on LinkedIn, so I will not lose my account.]

Nice list! Mine would be: ChatGPT for research and brainstorming, VS Code for coding, GitHub for version control, Notion for organizing ideas, and Google Workspace (Docs + Gmail) for collaboration. Amazing how a handful of tools can become part of your daily workflow.

Mine would be:

  1. ChatGPT – brainstorming, writing, and research.

  2. Notion – keeping projects and documentation organized.

  3. Slack – team communication.

  4. Figma – quick mockups and collaboration.

  5. – making client onboarding smoother by automating repetitive tasks and keeping everything in one place.

my top 5 list:

- ChatGPT / Claude - I run deep brainstorming sessions & I have several custom GPTs and Claude Projects set up. Helps me a lot with competitor research and content writing.

- Lovable - I don't have a lot of resources at hand, so if I want a new landing page design or I want to add a feature to our existing product, Lovable makes the execution easy.

- SemRUSH / Ahrefs - I am a big content and SEO nerd. What are competitors publishing? What's gaining traction or losing trend over time? Where should I double down on for organic traffic? (PS: I believe these tools helped me a lot in scaling organic traffic!)

- GA4 / Microsoft Clarity - Simply a non-negotiable platform. It's the first thing I track every morning to know the number of users, what suddenly lost traffic, where are we acquiring users from, when's the funnel breaking, and so on.

- Vaizle - I work with Vaizle, but it has very easily emerged as my fav platform. Not even lying. I can keep track of ad performance, check what competitors are posting on social. And best part is that I can feed it my own website + competitors and get very detailed SEO briefs. ChatGPT does it too, but with GA4 and Search Console connections, Vaizle gives me more data backed answers.

I guess that's my top 5 for now!

Mine skew unglamorous because I am running three very different businesses at once. Notion for anything that needs to stay written down long enough to matter. WhatsApp Business because that is genuinely where half my clients live. QuickBooks for the numbers I do not trust myself to eyeball anymore. FounderFlow, the one I built myself, because none of the others talk to each other and something had to tell me what actually needed my attention across all three. And plain phone calls, still the fastest way to fix something before it turns into a bigger problem.

I remember getting stuck for hours while preparing product visuals for a campaign. Every image looked inconsistent, and switching between tools only slowed me down and delayed the deliverables. That's when I started relying on a workflow like structuring my thoughts and planning in advance with ChatGPT for ideas, Claude to organise the creative direction, and Pikes AI and Kling helped me to refine the product visuals into something that felt intuitive and more refine. Notion to create mood boards and organize work. Since then, I've spent far less time fixing images and more time focusing on the brand story. These are my best 5 tools I rely on.

  3. Perplexity – quick research with source-backed answers.

  4. VS Code – for coding, scripts, and technical work.

It's interesting how AI has gone from being an optional tool to becoming part of the daily workflow.
