Switching password managers is way more annoying than I expected

I thought moving to a different password manager would basically be: export everything, import everything, done.

Then I started thinking about all the old logins, notes, duplicates, shared passwords, and random stuff that has accumulated over the years.

For anyone who has actually made the switch, which one did you leave and what did you move to? Anything you wish you’d known beforehand?
