Quick feedback: Is minimalist UI losing its appeal?

Lately I’ve noticed a shift back towards feature-rich dashboards instead of super clean, empty UI templates. Modern SaaS apps seem to be bringing back more status toggles and analytics right on the home screen. As users or builders, do you prefer a super clean interface or having all major controls visible at once?
