OpenAI or Anthropic (Claude)?

Depends on the tasks for myself I prefer anthropic for writing and coding but overall if the tasks are more generalised OpenAI would be better so just depends

Honestly, it depends on the tasks. For writing, I prefer Claude, and for coding as well, but OpenAI is overall better, more comprehensive, and has far more practical benefits. However, I use both daily. So, when I don't find a solution with one, I immediately turn to the other. Therefore, definitely both. OpenAI is more complex, but Claude is on a higher level with certain things.

@oleg_eltsov OpenAI because it can search internet in real time on the free plan so far, just give it an URL. I couldn't ask that to Claude. But Claude has better redaction skills

I use @ChatGPT by OpenAI and @Claude by Anthropic every day. Claude is better for coding and writing and its projects do a better job of keeping context in mind. ChatGPT has more tools (tasks, operator, etc.) and they don't have the same resource constraints that Anthropic has so I switch to ChatGPT when my Claude usage gets throttled :-)
