More people visit our documentations page than our homepage.

Noticed this in analytics last quarter and originally thought it was a tracking error. It wasn’t. People research the particular problem, go to a docs page, and sign up from there. Homepage serves people that have already heard about us.
So I started thinking of the docs as our front door. Pages are now written starting with the problem in clear language followed by code, and end with a link to the next action instead of "see also".
Time on page increased almost twice.
Have you seen your docs outperforming your marketing site? If yes, then what did you do to them?
