Is having a co-founder better choice than being a solo founder?

In some sense, I do believe that a co-founder might be very helpful as their is a person which separate skills contributin to my saas. Till now, for me, I never had any co-founder or any person who helped me with the saas journey.
I have seen a lot of posts across social media where people literally make 5 figures income as a solo founder. But, not everyone gets the same results. Do you think a co-founder is required or a solo founder can handle saas alone if they do not want to grow it to 6-7 figures?

Honestly, it depends, because there are so many variables involved, and they are different for every business. But even a very skilled solo founder usually reaches a point where they need other people, whether that is a first hire, a co-founder, or a mentor. Most founder memoirs I've read back this up, Tony Fadell's Build among them. None of them describe doing it truly alone. There was always a team, mentors, friends or family behind the story, even when one name was on the cover.
