How much time do you spend on hobbies?

byβ€’
Last 5 years my job was my hobby. And then I felt burning out emotionally. Thats why now I decided to do tennis, dancing and painting apart from work. I’m wondering how much time is okay for that.

My hobbies is practicing quranic verses with the best voice i can.
Thank you so much for this question. It made me think of my hobbies – the only one I do is singing in music school weekly. I should probably spend more time on it πŸ˜…
singing is good hobby too!! if you feel its enough - its enough
I think this is a really great question. Especially working from home, I find sometimes I'm so locked in on work, I lose that excitement at times. But, taking time away and enjoying my hobbies, allows me to reset and come back with a new energy and focus.
I'm posting this comment instead of playing sax. Looks like Product Hunt is my true hobby πŸ˜…

I'm fortunate enough that my hobbies are healthy activities. Thankfully I get to knock both out at once. I regularly exercise and try to beat my record every few months. I spend around 5 hours a week doing calisthenics, biking, and running.
Climbing 4 hours a week, yoga 2.5 hours a week, and music 3 hours a week
sounds perfect!
For me, professional life is in a sense a hobby, and I have often lost myself in it. However, I pointed out that the lack of exercise and losing myself in the construction sector negatively affected my health, but also my relationships with loved ones. Imagine that not everyone wants to hear all the time about start ups and changing the world. ;) Since then, I've started paying attention to getting out to the gym, reading a book and spending more time outside the office. I don't stick to a strict routine, nevertheless it's usually around 12-14h / week. This approach also strongly influences creativity and productivity at "work", so I recommend everyone to diversify their activities! ;)
I cant believe not everyone wants to hear all the time about start ups πŸ™ƒ thank you for the advise!
As a new user, I'm glad I came to the right place. ;)

yeah, I think its good to combinate work and hobbies
I'd say on average about 10 hours a week. Given they're outdoor things I spend more time on them in summer than i do in winter.
