AI Code Editors and Security

I am wondering does all software companies allow their employees to use AI code editors like
Cursor, Windsurf, VS Code + Copilot, Webstorm AI?
Myself currently I am on the fence for using AI Editors at Work, I only use Cursor for my own project
Because I think it could potentially expose a risk for the company

What if there is a Supply Chain Vulnerability and one of those editors sends an update that could steal your corporate credentials?

Do you guys think a product that will specifically work as a plugin for VS Code to protect "marked" files from AI, will be useful?
Do you currently use AI Editors at your workplace?

Have seen extensive use of co - pilot in many companies as it has protection. I personally don’t like co-pilot at all but not sure if Cursor is allowed in large corporates

Thank you man, I didn't know copilot was the most safe and secure across all
When I think about it it makes sense, they are in the game the longest if I am not mistaken.

Good luck with your launch, will definitely check it out!

Hey George,

This was a big question for us at TeraVera too, especially when LLMs started getting widely adopted. We wanted a way to keep sensitive data completely airgapped from the outside world, but still make it possible to ask smart questions of it.

So we built a platform and API that lets developers and companies do exactly that, securely interact with their internal data using LLMs, without compromising privacy or compliance.

If you're curious, you can . We'd love for you to check it out!

Cheers,
