Gauth Unlimited Digital Canvas - An AI tutor on an infinite whiteboard, not a chat thread
by•
Gauth AI Course now runs on an Unlimited Digital Canvas: one continuous whiteboard where lessons unfold spatially instead of in a chat thread or slide deck. Chapters expand side by side as narration plays, board notes write out in sync with the AI voice, and you can zoom from the full concept map down to a single formula. Pause anytime to ask the AI Tutor, and it answers right on the board beneath your step. Generate a canvas lesson on any topic, then export it as a PDF or share a link.

@byalexai Thanks Alex! Love having you be a part of the journey. More updates to come...
@byalexai Love how the whole lesson stays connected instead of jumping between diffrent screens makes learning much easier
@byalexai Can users create canvas lessons from their own notes or PDFs, or are the lessons mainly generated from scratch?
@byalexai Can you save your canvas and pick up where you left off later?
Many congratulations on the launch @alan_wang13 and good hunt @byalexai. 😊
This approach to AI learning feel novel, engaging and effective. I used to use an app on my iPad for note-taking as it offered unlimited canvas. Since then I realised chats and slides based learning is not as effective as the unlimited canvas to make the lessons feel connected and visual.
Looking forward to seeing what you ship next!
Do Quick Checks catch that '' I understood the video, but can't solve the issue'' moment?
@matthewbaker They sure do! Miss one and you can ask the AI Tutor right there on the board. Which subject does that hit you hardest in?
Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Alan, CTO at Gauth. Some of you may remember us from the AI Course launch last month.
Since then, we've been rethinking the format lessons live in. Slides move in one direction. Chat threads scroll away. Neither looks like how you actually work through a hard idea, where you jump back to an earlier step, zoom into one detail, then pull back to see how it all connects.
So we rebuilt AI Course around an Unlimited Digital Canvas: one continuous whiteboard where the lesson unfolds spatially instead of page by page. One of the biggest highlights for us is that it's built so it feels like you're working alongside a real tutor, not clicking through a deck, someone right there with you step-by-step and sketching things out as you think through them together.
What's different:
Chapters expand side by side as narration plays, so you can see how an early step connects to a later one
Board notes, formulas, and visuals write out in sync with the AI voice
Zoom from 40% to 300%, from the full concept map down to a single equation
Pause anytime and ask the AI Tutor. The answer is written right beneath the step you're stuck on, so it stays attached to what confused you instead of scrolling away, and it's still there when you come back to review
Quick Checks built into the flow, plus export to PDF or share a link
For subjects where flat diagrams fall short, the canvas becomes a visual engine. Our Premium courses use it for continuous 3D flythroughs, like watching a tornado form from temperature and wind shear, or moving from organ systems down to cells in a single shot.
We didn't design it around the shape of a textbook page. We designed it around the shape of a student's thought process.
You can generate a canvas lesson on any topic. Try it and tell me what you built, I'll be here all day.
@alan_wang13 Any rough timing for the element level questions? Shared canvases would be careful too.
could the tutor explain a diagram in another language while keeping the questions used in class?
@_logan_myers Not yet but this is interesting, thanks for sharing!
i'd like to pause before the next step appears and predict it my self.
@kabir_suleman_kusfa Love that, it's such a good way to study! You can pause anytime, so hit pause, make your guess, then play to see if you got it.
being able to zoom out and see how one details fits into a larger is the feature i'd use most.
@_quico_lorman Yesss having the flexibility to see everything from a birds eye view definitly helps especially for someone like me who switches from different resources when studying.
A three-mintue lesson is easier to start between classes than another full-length video
@_umairjaved 💯 that's exactly how we want people to use it! And since it reopens right where you left off, a few minutes between classes actually adds up.
I like having the quiz right there after the lesson.
@dylan_friddle12 Thanks Dylan! Great to hear that feature helps.
Could be pretty useful for giving students something to work on after class.
@evan_taft1 Totally! Good use-case Evan.
Being able to share a course with classmates is actually useful.
@grant_w1 For sure, can go at your own pace or with your classmates - works great either way.
