Set a bunch of strict rules for myself when starting out about keeping things simple and never taking quick shortcuts.

A couple years in half of those rules are gone because real life hit and decisions got way more complicated.

How do you tell if you're just adjusting to real business needs or actually losing your original vision?

It s so annoying when you feed an error to an agent it fixes one thing, breaks another, and then reverts right back to the first issue two turns later.

Once the chat gets flooded with raw logs it feels like it completely forgets the big picture and just starts guessing.

Do you just wipe the chat completely at that point or is there a prompt trick that actually gets it to stop and rethink?

Clients always ask for "just one more thing" in a project scope an extra report, another revision, or an additional strategy call. If you keep saying yes, your core service loses focus and efficiency.

It's tempting to add more to justify a higher price, but usually, less is more.

And I assume it s similarly tricky for software builders. Users constantly request new settings, integrations, and custom options. But adding every requested feature turns a clean tool into a complex, confusing mess.

How do you decide when to say "no" to feature requests to protect simplicity?
