Hey Product Hunt! I'm Caelean, the co-founder/CEO of Gauge. We started seeing ads show up in ChatGPT answers last Thursday, and sprinted over the weekend to build a full ads experience into Gauge (GEO platform). We're already working with a number of our customers, including PostHog, to unlock insights into their campaigns and the competitive landscape. Are you running ads in ChatGPT, or curious if your competitors are? We'd love for you to give Gauge a try!!

the ability to see exactly what ad copy is running against specific prompts is the real hook here. if i can see what my competitors are bidding on this early, it's a massive advantage. definitely checking out how you guys handle the ctr/cpc calcs. looks good

This is super cool, we're very excited to start using this at

excited to see what you find!

The competitor ad copy intelligence piece is the most interesting angle here. When you say you can see "what ad copy is getting run against any prompt" — is that pulling from a crawled index of prompts Gauge is already tracking, or can you input any arbitrary prompt and get live results? The difference matters a lot for how useful this actually is for competitive research.

both! We have an index that you can also update live with your own prompts.

When you first noticed sponsored placements showing up in ChatGPT, what was the concrete “oh no / we need this now” moment from a customer—what were they trying to answer that existing dashboards or manual prompting couldn’t?

what prompts the ads they're running are showing up for.
