@nathanrightnour Thank you! And great question!
The key differences are:
π Dark mode - Not just any dark mode... it's the most thoroughly themed one.
π₯ Native Mac system font - It will look right at home and I think it's a better UI font. Bonus: the brand new SF Mono is used for code snippets.
π± Quality of life changes - Most menus and buttons now have an active state, so it feels more responsive. (https://twitter.com/ravenyu/stat...) Font weights are more readable. Rounded corners are more consistent across the app.

@ravenyu thank you!
Those are:
β€οΈdefinitely good enough for me to try it out!

This product uses a browser window where you just log in into your figma account and it changes the styles of their web page to the dark theme (which you could, for instance, also do with your own browser extension or alike). This electron app has got the default electron menu, so it's actually completely useless without the original figma's menu... It's just a waste of money...
@engulfer Hi Dmitry. Quite unfortunate that you donβt find it useful. But this is exactly what a lot of people are looking for. Thousands of people who are actively using it would agree. Have a fantastic day! π
@ravenyu ah, I thought you've implemented local font loading somehow. It's not about CSS, it's about using something other than Google Fonts in the actual design.
--------UPDATE--------VERSION 1.1--------SEP 17--------
A hotfix for some missing unthemed areas.
Thank you for reporting them.
Now Figgy is truly uber duper meticulously themed!
There is no update mechanism built-in, so please head over to the site and download it again π¦
@alisson_schwanz Google login is not supported. Please use your email account π

@alisson_schwanz@raveny why don't you display:none; the Google SSO button then? would've saved me 15 minutes of running in circles, reaching out to Figma support, etc. Glad I saw this reply but you should make this constraint clear.
Hi there! Iβm the maker of this tweak.
Iβll be using Figma at work and Iβve been dreading it... I know many designers also consider the vanilla Figma a lesser experience than competing native apps. I hope sharing this will make you give it another shot!
And yes, even those loading placeholders for the plug-in page are themed π
If you encounter any bugs, please let me know!
And please keep in mind:
1οΈβ£ Google login is not supported.
2οΈβ£ Plugins cannot be themed. They live in their own iframes, and theyβre each coded differently.
3οΈβ£ That black βAgβ font style icon is also unthemeable. There isnβt any way (that I know of) to target that PNG image without affecting other elements.
Feel free to tweet @ me if you know how to get around those issues.
I plan to support this tweak until an official dark mode is released.
Enjoy!! β¨π

Dark mode is super! I hate how white Figma is and Figgy fixes that beautifully! I Think I'll keep using Figmac for now though because it shows you all the Figma shortcuts in the menu (as a newbie, that's VERY helpful!) Once I get the hang of them, I'll probably switch to Figgy! @ravenyu could you add shortcuts like FIgmac though? It would be awesome :D
