Why I build Forxample | Part 1

by

Let me take you back for a second.

Before startups… Before code… Before anything “tech”.

I grew up in a small grocery store.

Not the shiny supermarket kind.

I’m talking about the real local type, shelves stacked by hand, the same customers every day, my parents knowing everyone by name.

We also had a small bakery.

And mornings? They started early. Like… really early.

While most kids were sleeping, I’d be helping move boxes, stacking bread trays, watching my parents, already exhausted before the sun even came up.

And the thing I remember most isn’t the work…

It’s the stress.

Every day felt uncertain.

“Will customers come today?” “Will sales be enough this month?” “Should we run discounts?” “Should we print flyers again?”

Everything was manual. Everything was guesswork.

No data. No systems. No online presence.

Just hope and hard work.

And as a kid, I used to wonder something that stuck with me for years…

Why aren’t we using technology?

I mean… even back then I could see websites, online listings, digital tools.

I’d think, “If tech can help big companies grow… why not us?”
