FinderGit 0.5.0 — Native AI commit messages, no setup ✨

If you've ever stared at the "Commit message…" field at 11 pm wondering how to summarize 14 file changes into a coherent line, this one's for you. FinderGit 0.5.0 ships with native AI commit-message generation — click ✨ AI next to the commit field, get a properly-formatted message back in about a second.

What makes it actually useful:

- ✅ Zero setup: no API key, no signup, no Homebrew, no pip install.

- ✅ Configurable to your style: Conventional Commits, emoji prefix, professional / casual / friendly tone, short / normal / long body — plus a free-form Custom Instructions textarea ("never use 'leverage'", "always sign with — initials", "mention the issue number from the branch name")

- ✅ Bullet-list bodies that read well — the de-facto OSS convention: subject line, blank line, - bullets each describing one change and its motivation

- ✅ Privacy-conscious: diffs are not logged or stored, capped at 100 KB per request

Plus a few quality-of-life wins shipped together:

- Stage All ↔ Unstage All toggle — the button flips when everything is already in the index

- Sparkle update prompts now show release notes inline — no more naked DMG download links

- A fix for a sneaky bug where typing Space in any text field was silently triggering Quick Look 😅

Existing users on 0.4.x get 0.5.0 automatically via Sparkle within ~24 h.

Curious what the AI produces on your real commits? Try it and share examples in the thread — I'd love to see how the configurable tone/length feels in practice.
