Thanks everyone for your support! Since we were children, it has always been our dream to receive a Product Hunt Golden Kitty award. With your help, we are so close to making that dream a reality! Of course, we wouldn't be here without our families, friends and the wider Figma community. You all inspire us every day to keep making Figma better! <3
@zoink Good luck! Never was able to get into Sketch and stuck with Photoshop for years. Figma was the first piece of software that actually got me using modern design tools.

Pretty exciting tool to rival Sketch. I can see a lot of potential there and try to use it as my main tools for side-projects at home. If it gets powerful enough to handle nested symbols / design systems as Sketch, it's worth a switch.
Pros:
Web based, cross-platform
Cons:
Not as many resources available online as Sketch

You can achieve nested symbols in Figma. As yet there are limitations but you still can and it's usable/usefull

Agree with @maakbow. Figma can achieve nested symbols and whats better is that the symbol/components expands to show the layers within. @figmadesign

its a ton of fun—if you’re a sketch user, working with others, give it a shot. The version control, team comments, and vector networks will blow you away.
Pros:
on the web, so accessible everywhere. A joy to use, the team is super friendly, it’s really just a great product.
Cons:
No plugins, I guess. Loading times could be improved.

How in the world is a collection of kitschy gradients beating figma in design tools category?
При работе с шрифтами названия шрифтов не имеют свою стилистику.

The most awesome and innovative design tool I've ever used.
Pros:
Easy to use, powerful, innovative.
Cons:
I wish Figma Mirror could work better.

Figma allowed me to kickoff the design of a complex UI really quickly with almost no learning curve. Most of the elements and shortcuts one would expect in a vector design product are there, so I got a sense of familiarity from the first time I tried it.
Being able to create components and define scaling constraints for container sub-elements eliminates a lot of grunt work that traditional design software requires and this allowed me to focus on being productive and pushing my design ideas forward very quickly.
Also the prototype tool lets you create interactive presentations of desired user journeys very easily and being able to do it live while others are watching remotely makes Figma a one-stop shop for me and my team.
I think that Figma is still on the way to becoming a fully mature product, it could benefit from some new features, whilst other features could use a tiny bit of polishing, but overall it does deliver and it definitely fills in a gap that UI designers and developers are desperately struggling with.
Pros:
Free, intuitive, cross-platform and collaborative - a complete package for designing and presenting UI prototypes
Cons:
occasional small bugs, components system could use some improvements, lacks textual search of elements

Figma's approach to screen design is more integrated and forward-thinking than anything else I've worked in. I'd recommend Figma not only because it is an extremely competitive tool today, but I see so much potential for it in the future. Can't wait to see what else the fine Figma folks come up with!
Pros:
Cross-platform, live collab, intuitive vector tools, sophisticated overrides, built-in prototyping and code preview (and way way more)
Cons:
No plug-in support/community, single-level component index, no layer/component search or filtering

Ever since I"ve started using figma, it has become my primary design tool. It took me a day to get used to the interface. I've used it to design for my clients and friends and the reaction was amazing. All my colleagues are already using Figma as their design tool.
Pros:
Easy to use, learn and build amazing designs.
Cons:
It will need to work on the code it generates for android layouts, it makes the app memory intensive because of the deep nesting.

This tool has reduced and saved many hours that could have been wasted in communication and file sharing between my team and clients. The free tier is enough to serve any project needs.
Only thing it needs now are
- offline mode(which partially works)
- performance tweak while loading very large projects, even pages features don't help
- 3rd party plugins or atleast features like Craft plugin by InVision
I love this product and how it has broken that "Mac only" boundry.
Totally recommend it.
Pros:
Online and free, collaboration is the strongest feature and works on any platform.
Cons:
Needs internet, no robust symbol/component organization, no 3rd party plugin support and really don't recommend for very large projects.
