Looks like an awesome product! What kinds of charts do you currently have and plan to add in the future?
@therealjamesxue Thanks James!
We currently support your basic line charts and bar charts. We are building out map charts since that has been a frequent request. We also plan to support histograms and scatter plots.
Any other chart types that would be useful for you?
@garymlin It's actually crazy how much friction there is to doing this kind of analysis without a tool like Explo... You're bringing us into the future!

@garymlin@calvinlegassick agreed! Getting data is so difficult folks on your team don't know sql. Data transparency is so important- this helps make it happen.
@calvinlegassick@adena_bauer3 Thanks Calvin and Adena! Our goal is that anyone, regardless of technical proficiency, on the team can perform data analyses.
The point-and-click interface has been completely gamechanging for the nontechnical members of our team in analyzing our app data and finding key insights about customer usage. Excited to see this product progress over time!
@simonemeta Yea, we can smoothly handle very large csv files! This is because our compute layer is backed by a data warehouse. One of our early users used Explo to analyze a 20M+ row csv.
Sign up and we'll get you started!
@uber@explo@lizarizzo Thanks Liza, definitely! I personally spoke to product managers, operations, and sales/marketing individuals at organizations similar to Uber who have been restricted in their ability to perform because they don't know SQL. I can imagine it's the same at Uber!

Congratulations on your launch @garymlin! I didn't have much time to explore your product, but how does it compare with https://www.metabase.com/ ?
@lazar_nikolov1 Thanks Lazar!
Metabase other charting tools are still too technical for non-technical users. We’ve heard from our user interviews that the only people that touch the configurations in these tools are data teams and engineers. Non-technical employees remain as purely consumers of dashboards. Explo empowers these non-technical employees to do the actual data exploration.
