Hi Product Hunt, I'm excited to introduce my first iOS app, Experiments!

Experiments is an app that helps you track new things before fully adding them into your life. Whether you're picking up a new hobby, building a habit, or testing out a new app or product, you can treat it as an experiment.

Set a duration, check in on your progress, and log your observations with notes or photos. When the experiment ends, review and reflect on whether it’s something you want to keep.

My inspiration for this app idea came from two main sources. First, I have been a fan of Matt D'Avella's 30 day experiments for years. Then, when Anne-Laure Le Cunff announced her book, Tiny Experiments, I became even more drawn to the concept of living life as an experiment.

With tools like Cursor available today, I wanted to give it a shot to bring the app idea to life, and I did! More recently, I've also invited my friend Karl, the creator of SyncTasks, to collaborate on experiments to take it further.

More updates to come!

@heyeaslo congrats on the launch 🚀 Theresa shared your app the other day with me 😍 Love the UI.

Easlo

@michael_sieb So cool to hear, thanks so much for the support and kind words!

@heyeaslo Hi congrats on the launch! Love the concept fr. A decision optimizer feature would be great.
One quick note: your homepage might not be doing justice to what you’ve built. I help founders optimize messaging to improve conversions + investor interest.

Want me to send a quick homepage clarity audit? Free, just helpful feedback. No BS, No fluff

I'm very much looking forward to exploring Experiments & what it can do on the channel.

Charvi Bothra

I love the UI/UX!

Evak Chan

Love the concept. Seeing this product reminds me of something I’ve always wanted to try but never stuck with: whether drinking more water really improves the skin.

Easlo

@evakk That’s the idea! Treating new habits, routines, and products as experiments makes it less daunting than fully committing right away.

Desmond

Love the structured approach to self-improvement!Are there pre-built experiment templates for common goals like fitness or productivity?

Easlo

@desmond_ren1 Not yet, though I am planning to add that to the onboarding process, or perhaps making it a permanent option in the profile/settings.

Chaebeen

I actually discovered it on X and had already been using it — so great to see it here too! Really love the simple and smooth experience. Wishing you all the best with the launch. 🚀🎉

Easlo

@chaebeen_kwon Thank you for being an early adopter! I appreciate your support for the launch!

Such a good idea! I love it. So many things I want to consciously experiment. Tracking the journey of the experiment will definitely make them clearer and more purposeful. Congrats on your launch!

PS: If you like journaling, I'm launching a very cool iOS app very soon.

Cool idea! I'm curious what your background is? I am thinking about using Cursor too and don't really have experience coding at all. I love how the UI looks really similar to Notion, which I already use to track my habits. I wonder how you think about this vs. traditional note-taking apps like Notion?

Syahrul Gunawan

I get what the designers of this app think. It uses black and white color palette to minimize distraction. Amazing details!
