EuRi - A meme feed where AI moderates before publishing

EuRi is a meme social network where a Cloud Function calls Gemini the moment a post is created. The content only goes live if it passes. The idea is to attack the problem at the source instead of relying on reports after the damage is done. It cost more latency than I expected, and the prompt took several rounds so it would stop blocking legitimate humour. Note: the app is currently in Brazilian Portuguese only. Flutter, Firebase and Gemini.

Hi Product Hunt 👋 EuRi is a meme feed, but the part worth talking about is the moderation: a Cloud Function calls Gemini when the post is created, and it only goes live if it passes. Report-after-the-fact was never going to work for this kind of content. Two honest caveats: it added real latency, and the first prompts blocked plenty of legitimate humour before I got them right. The app is also Portuguese-only for now. If you've shipped pre-publication AI moderation, I'd like to hear where yours false-positives.
