Hi hunters, Bobby here – Cofounder and CEO of Equals, the next-generation spreadsheet. It’s been a minute, but that's because we’ve been heads down working on our biggest release to date. We’re so excited to announce the availability of Dashboards. Now, you can instantly turn any spreadsheet analysis into a dynamic dashboard and auto-distribute scheduled reports to stakeholders via Slack, email and Slides. All in a matter of clicks. It’s business intelligence, but dead easy. Here are the highlights: ✏️ They're easy to create (quickly) Just point and click, then drag and drop to add cells, tables, and charts. Add context with text and AI-generated summaries. 🔗 They're easy to share (confidently) Share dashboards with anyone — teammates, customers, and investors alike – with access controls that protect your underlying analysis. 🗓️ And they’re easy to distribute (automatically) Schedule and send reports anywhere your stakeholders are, whether that's Slack, email, or Google Slides. (Oh, you can export to PDF, too). Dashboards are included free with all paid subscriptions. If you can spreadsheet, now you can dashboard too. If you’re new to Equals, you can today. We’re excited to see what you build. It’s business intelligence, but dead easy. ✌️
Good evening, Bobby! I'm absolutely sure, this project has a huge opportunity for growth in the future. Accept my congratulations with brilliant start! Tell me please, do Dashboards have a support service?
Congratulations on the big release of Equals Dashboards! Turning spreadsheet analysis into dynamic dashboards and automating report distribution sounds like a game-changer. I appreciate how you've made it easy to create, share, and distribute dashboards, all while protecting the underlying analysis. And the fact that Dashboards are included for free with paid subscriptions is a fantastic offer! Well done and good luck on journey!
thanks so much. We're happy to help folks get started on Dashboards. We offer templates for folks that want to try to get started on their own. And then of course we're happy to help you build your first analysis or two.
thanks so much for the kind words!
Bobby, thanks a lot!
As a marketer who's typically always had to rely on other teams (that always have higher-priority work to do) when it comes to dashboards and reports, I can't say enough how stoked I am to have Dashboards in Equals. Here's an example...when we launched the waitlist for Dashboards a few weeks back, I was able to spin up a dashboard that showed me a live count of how many people had signed up, including who they were, plus traffic to our landing page – in minutes. Yes, minutes. By myself. And I was able to send it to our #marketing team's channel in Slack every day. Automatically. Literally game-changing. It truly is business intelligence, but dead easy.
grateful to have you onboard!
great launch. It could be useful to founders needing high level numbers.
Awesome one with very intuitive design. Congratulations on the launch🎉
thank you!!
Thanks Yuki, really appreciate it!
No doubt, It's the next-gen spreadsheet. It's a game-changer and a big-time saver.
cracking work on the launch video, Nitesh. It was a pleasure working with you on it
+1, as always a pleasure!
This means a lot to me. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to work with you guys on this amazing launch.
What a ride! Congrats guys and keep up with the blog posts -- they're really good.
thanks so much, glad they're resonating. more coming soon!
do you have a favorite?
fallacy of freemium! Recently reposted it on twitter, and implemented a hard paywall myself (working really well so far)
🙏🏻 🙌🏻
Congrats on the launch! I wanted to use it right away!
Making sense of spreadsheet. Where does the output goes? Can you export the result as a public link? Thanks
Every dashboard has its own tab in the workbook (spreadsheet) where it, and the data on it, lives. You can share the workbook (or just the dashboard) with anyone. See here for more details:
"the next generation spreadsheet" is such a catchy tagline hahah. Love it. Looks really neat for anyone working in a biz with plenty of data sources! Congrats on the launch. :)
I'd take the credit for it, but it all goes to + :)
thanks so much 🙏
Big launch, go team Equals!
thanks for the support, mate!
thank you!
thank for the support!
Hey Bobby, hats off to you and the team for kicking off Equals! This is an incredibly interesting approach to bringing spreadsheets into the next level. Is there any way to implement live feeds or real-time data into these dashboards?
g'day Shane! You can schedule queries of any datasource connected to a workbook to refresh automatically as frequently as every hour. And you can always manually refresh whenever you like.
That's cool
