Vibe coding is getting expensive — how are you handling prompt inefficiency?
by•
I’ve been digging into something interesting while building for vibe coding tools like Lovable, Replit Agent, and Bolt.new.
Most people assume failures come from the tools themselves.
But in reality, a lot of issues come from something upstream:
messy, unstructured prompts.
What I’m seeing in practice:
Lovable users burning credits through repeated UI corrections
Replit Agent getting stuck in debugging loops
Bolt projects blowing up token usage because context isn’t structured
I’m curious:
👉 How are you currently structuring your prompts or app ideas before sending them into these tools?
Are you:
winging it?
using templates?
iterating inside the tool itself?
Would love to hear real workflows from others building in this space.
