Elementor Theme Builder - A limitless WordPress design tool for developers & designers

I work with Wordpress as a werbdesigner since 12 years and in these years I've tried many solutions to develop themes without recurring to pre-made templates: from html+php to Headway and also Divi.

Nothing compares until now to the versatility and speed of Elementor. Absolutely recommended!

Pros:

Fast, customisable, pro level wordpress theme, absolute gorgeousness!

Cons:

some features are not yet available, but they're surely almost ready. The developer is focused and fast.

Was able to design and build v1 of my new site, cmoagency.com over a single weekend. Best WP Builder I've ever used, and I've tested a number of them!

I've been using Elementor Pro with the Astra theme for about 6 months now. I've used it on both internal sites for myself as well as client sites. It is really easy to learn and very flexible. They're constantly improving the product as well and I'm happy to support these great developers.

I really like Elementor for building wordpress sites. Its really easy and saves a lot of time. You can design beautiful sites in hours. I like the interface.

The editing is practically instantaneous. There are tons of beautifully designed templates to get you started. I also love a small, lesser-known feature where you can choose the HTML element for each row/section (<div>, <section>, <aside>, etc.)

I originally found Elementor on Product Hunt 2 years ago and have rode along as it got better, faster & easier. I have taught 9- 92 yr olds how to build webpages.

version 2.0 is a revolutionary addition and I highly recommend this to all.

My designers are using Elementor already since some time and they are really happy. The only thing i can say is that the product is great (also I can do stuff without being able to code). I've also recommend it to my friends who are doing projects on WordPress

Been using Elementor for 5 months with Astra Theme. It's a game changer for sure. I used other builders before, Thrive, Visual Composer, Divi... Nothing comes close to the speed, beauty and functionality. Now with CPT integration and ability to build templates for posts and archive pages and headers/footers it's like I'm a kid in a candy store! I'm excited to see the new widgets they will release for more integration with dynamic content in ACF and CPTs. I def have more use cases that could benefit from deeper integration, which is coming.

I do miss one thing from Thrive which was bread crumbs navigation for different parts of the hiearchy of the page you're building, like section - row - column - content box - widget/element. Sometimes it's hard to select Elementor's sections, especially if they are up top or have negative margins and are layered with other sections.

Pros:

Fast, Beautiful, Easy to learn, excellent templates, amazing theme builder and integration with custom post types! Great team and community.

some weird UI quirks, new player so some features still coming but they have been consistently rolling them out!

Elementor Pro is in the base of my webdesign workflow. It is an essential tool.

Hi - Awesome work thank you! One thing I have found a little frustrating is when you are making mass edits to a page, the UI is a little odd - ie I decided to add extra padding to all my headings on a page - when you click a header the sidebar tab defaults to Content, so for every change, I had to also swap the tab back to Advanced - would love the side bar to stay on Advance no matter what I click (if it's set to Advance) - another example is changing out colors every time you want to change a color you select the item - then hit the style button in the side bar... that's because when you select a new item/element the side bar tab defaults to Content... SO (sorry rather long winded I know!), be great to have an option (a switch or sim), to change to - 'remember what tab you are on across elements' or sim? This will really speed things up!
