eesel - All your work in one place

byβ€’
eesel is a Chrome extension that brings all your work from different tools into one place. It's based on browser history, so it automatically works with pretty much any tool. In fact, eesel runs entirely on your browser, so your work stays secure and never leaves your computer.

Seriously love this thing, but (as I added in my Chrome extension review), I really prefer to have my ProductHunt new tab extension and would rather just use this with command+e. Please add a setting to prevent it from taking over my new tab. ^^
amogh
@titusdecali It's possible to remove eesel from your new tab already. Here's how: https://intercom.help/eesel/en/a... Let us know if you have any questions and thanks for giving this a spin! :)

@amoghito Awesome! It's working exactly how I want. Thanks! I'll update my review to 5 stars on Chrome
amogh
@titusdecali Stoked to hear that! πŸ™ŒEars wide open for any more feedback as it pops up.

Just installed this 5 hours ago and absolutely loving this! This is a much needed plugin to organize the various google sheets/docs/slides I access on a day-to-day basis. Would be great if I could arrange the different products in a certain order and instead of showing all by default. πŸ˜ƒ
amogh
@jesstan Really flattering to hear that you're loving this already! Totally makes sense that you want to position the products more specifically. What kind of order would you want?
Jess Tan
@amoghito it would be great to be able to drag and drop the order of products to my desired order :) in this way usually I would order them by frequent of use.
amogh
@jesstan Gotcha, thanks for clarifying. We'll look into this.
Anthony Onesto
I love the idea. I had an issue during onboarding using Chrome.
amogh
@anthonyonesto Ah yes - we've had a few people hit this bug. We've resolved the issue and are now waiting for Chrome to review the app. This can take any where from a few hours to a few days and is out of our control unfortunately. I'll let you know when that's released. Thanks for trying this out!
Anthony Onesto
@amoghito thanks for the quick response. Good luck! PS - I hate looking for stuff in Google Drive!
amogh
@anthonyonesto Each loading spinner kills a dream somewhere :'(

@anthonyonesto Good news! The fix for this is now out. Just uninstall and reinstall eesel and you should be good to go.

I've been using eesel for a few months now and it's been a game changer. I find it especially useful for jumping between Salesforce and Google Docs. I also love that I can add any tool and have added a few internal analytics tools. Keep up the good work and I'm excited to see where you take this next :)
Julien Zmiro
Cheers @helene_reydet super super happy to read that!

The best way to search for files in your browser. I've been using it for months, unfortunately I recently switched to Firefox and it has been one thing I really miss!
Julien Zmiro
Thanks @jean_pierre_pequito ! Hopefully we can launch a Firefox version soon enough πŸ™Œ
Robin Maben
This is amazing! Waiting for this to be available on Firefox! πŸ™Œ
Julien Zmiro
@robin_maben We'll definitely be looking at that soon! Thanks!
