We developed Dwell by identifying the need for a simple, intuitive journaling platform to encourage mindfulness and reflection. Starting with a focus on core features like date-wise organization, privacy, and accessibility, we designed a clean and user-friendly interface using tools like Figma. The development phase involved using frameworks like React to ensure a seamless user experience. After rigorous testing and feedback from beta users, we refined the app and launched it as a web app, followed by an Android version. To reach users, we implemented a strategic email marketing campaign and promoted it on platforms like LinkedIn. This user-focused approach has already helped Dwell achieve its first milestone of 100 users, with plans for future enhancements based on user feedback.
